Holy Hiddenness Devotional Drawing
Accept Abba's invitation to dwell with Him in His hidden meadow of intimacy, an oasis of peace that is His heart, through this devotional drawing.
"You are coming out of a season that has been marked with tension and turmoil, struggle and stress. The world around you has been full of chaos, the distractions weighing heavily upon you, burdening your heart and mind. You have been pulled in every direction that the very fabric of your being has felt as though it is beginning to fray. The desire to throw in the towel was tempting you at each turn, but you kept your head down, nose to the grindstone and continued.
However, in this season Abba is inviting you to do just that - to give up and give in by giving Him the weight upon your shoulders. He is calling to you to follow His whisper and allow Him to show you His hidden meadow of intimacy, an oasis of peace that is found in the waters of His heart. He is asking you to take this time to pursue Him, seek His face, and sit in His presence. In this love and curiosity fueled pursuit, you find yourself leaving distractions behind and stepping into peace. The further in you go with Him, the more captivated you are. Sensitivities heightened, His strong defense like mountains surround you, His gentle whisper as the bowing of the grasses quiet your mind, and the intimate invitation to rest in Him like the soft ripples of the water wash over your soul. This is His heart, the secret place of communion that He is inviting you to. This is not a destination to visit in times of desperation, but He is extending the offer to teach you to dwell with Him and in Him.
You were created for communion with Messiah. This hiddenness within His heart is one of peace, security, holiness, wisdom, grace, and love. Allow yourself to be overwhelmed by His goodness and invite Him to saturate every fiber of your being. Behold the beauty and majesty of King Yeshua and be undone in His presence."
